Weird they'd say Texas fishing contestants at 2206 is a World Record. Minnesotans Brainerd Jaycees draw near 10,000 every year.

I'd be willing to bet that a bass ate that rat and the rat escaped. Bass with hit anything on the surface, even plugs bigger than their bodies. I currently own an MS Rat and a mouse lure. I have caught many bass in MN on topwater mouse lures.

Nearly 100% of bass boats ar loaded this way. I've never seen one that isn't. The trailers are built for it. It's the best way to center a boat. I'll be building a trailer to allow me to do this with my 13 footer. Have to agree with will on this one. And I didn't know the was a woman alive who could back up a boat trailer.  roflmao

I grew up on Bullheads. Literally, I caught 100 in 1 day. Out farm was river on 3 sides sand we had them in all the lakes. This wasn't a bullhead however. I have caught many bullheads fishing for carp in Clear Lake. Rare a Bullhead will go over 3 pounds in this lake but possible. This was channel car colors.

Caught this deformed looking catfish on a Senko in Nice while bass fishing Friday night. It bent my heavy jig rod over and for for a couple minutes. Thought I had a Double Digit Bass. This thing had the head of a 10 pounder and the boy of a 2 pounder. It went about 4. We kicked it back in the water.

I cruised by you place tonight on my way to night fishing. Had a horrible night. Boat motor conked out mid-lake. Limped into State Park and waited for rescue. Got to bed at 2:15 this am
