Hi Franz,

I was just wondering if there was any action in the four poles area as of yet.  It has been sometime since I have heard anyone mention anything about that area.

One more question.  When does the algae start to get bad on the lake?  I know the weather has been kind of strange and it hasn't been really hot for long periods of time and I was just wondering how long before the green stuff shows up.

Len,

I have not seen any boats fishing The Four Pole area for quite some time now, nor has there been much activity in that little cove around the corner.

It has been quite windy the past few days with moderate ambient temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s, plus it will be windy going into this Memorial Day weekend.

The algae is there, but it is moderate in the open areas of the south end of the lake where I've been fishing. I would assume the algae is heavier in wind protected areas such as The Keys and Rodman Slough.

That will all change as the winds taper off and the hot summer like temperature returns. ph34
