ok so saturday i got my license for the year..almost 42$$$ Angry Angry they really need to up it like 25 cents a year instead of over 1$$$ anyways so i get to red bud and its cold and windy cold! i see people comin in off the docks for a small tourney and a weigh in..and i asked almost everyone how the bite was that day one word described it...SUCKED.so i fished in the cold and wind for about 3 hours and not a freakin bite...it needs to warm up some be4 im goin out again crazy! on the plus side is they released some healthy lookin bass at the launch ramp after the tourney clap! clap! clap! clap!

Well, i guess the bass bite hasnt quite come completely around yet, but it is gtreat to hear that they released them bacck to grow big and spawn to be caught another day!!! fish rock!

You know the name of the club? I'm pretty sure the law reads at Clear Lake you must release tourney fish 2 miles from the site of the weigh in and 200 yards off shore.

Shouldn't this be in the shore fishing thread? Wink

Federation... and the DFG was scheduled to be there to ensure new guidelines were adhered to.  Wink

Tournament sign up took place at Clearlake Bait & Tackle yesterday morning at 5am.
