Figured I best work out the kinks in my right hand, so launched out of Redbud around 3 pm Saurday afternoon to similar conditions like Friday... calm lake... ambient temperature 81... water temperature 70.  Kiss

Fished the Big Long Green Dock area near Lakeview Point for roughly two hours with similar results as Friday... jig got nailed several times, but no solid hook ups.  Tongue

Area was quite soupy with suspended green algae and surface scum that required cleaning the line quite often.  zoo taz

Shot across the lake to the old Clearlake Boat Works and worked the area until sunset utilizing a 3/8 oz. football head Owner 3/0 jig with a double wide beaver 5.20 in watermelon/red.

Again, no problem detecting the strike, but getting a solid hook set was just not in the picture with my right hand refusing to cooperate without extensive pain during each swing for the fence.

Wind kicked up after sunset, so called it quits with safe light back to Redbud.

No biggie.... the hand will continue to heal, and I'll be out another day.  Wink

PS - With the lake level at 0.63 above Zero Rumsey, got to be careful around the launch area... several shallow areas with rocks.
