Read Eds post on the 12lbs carp he caught using fly tackle. That sounded like a blast. Was wondering if any one here actively pursues carp with a fly?

I just had foot surgery but as soon as I can walk again I'm gonna give it a shot. I'm reading the book "Carp on the fly" and enjoying it greatly. Gonna try and practice fly casting (new to fly fishing all together) from my chair but can't wait to try this for real.

So, anyone tried fly fishing for them or have any thoughts? I also rented "The Fly Rodder's Guide to Carp" from Netflix and would recommend it if your interested.
