Hello i have a Q.First of all at the river i fish is ragin but not deep.So i use a 3 oz. pyrimid slip sinker with beed and barrel swivel.Then i attach my line to the other end of the barrel swivel like 12-14 inchs and then hook.Is it alright to put a bobber like half way from the 12-14 inch attach'd to hook.Thx alot if u can help me with this info.God Bless all fishin fans. BTW this is for catfish'n at the bottom... Smiley

I guess it would work if you're trying to suspend your bait 6 or 7 inches off the bottom. I would use the smallest bobber that will float your bait off the bottom. Good luck.
