I wasn't really expecting much, I've been watching the water for a few weeks but just couldn't get motivated to rig up.  I used my favorite lure a Rapala firetiger count down.  In about an hour of fishing I got 4 nice Bass about 3 pounds.  Nothing to really rave about but it sure did a lot to get rid of cabin fever.

They were definitely chomping, as the Angler's Choice Tournament results from Saturday reflect.

The wind kicked up a few notches more Saturday evening into early Sunday morning, along with the cold front, changing the bite completely, as I viewed the National Bass West weigh-in at Redbud Park yesterday afternoon.

Still decent weights, but not the quantity of fish weighed in from Saturday's tournament.

Consistent and seasonal bite patterns are just around the corner as Spring fast approaches.  Thumbs up

the bite has been really good out there...... Water is still on the cold side BUT find ROCK and slow drag a jig or carolina rig. We have been having 25-30  fish days in jago and around konocti point just remember to slow drag and then let sit no hopin. I also feel that this time of year scent makes sence but either way get out there and catchem.
We are catching allot of fish in the 3-4.5lb range so there not tourny fish but lots of fun.
