No recession here!

  From time to time I like to drop in on Tackle It's webcam just to get a little "fix"...   It's usually pretty calm, quiet and almost "serene".  There's usually more birds passing by than anything else...   But not this weekend! Holy Smokes! There's more darn water-wippers flyin' back and forth than Carter's got pills!    It looks like they should have put a traffic cop out there in front of that camera a long time ago.

  No signs of a recession up there this weekend... Anybody up there that owns a set of gas pumps with beer & ice near the register oughta be goin' from beans to steak here pretty quick. And with all the DUIs and quagga mussel tickets goin' out this weekend I'd bet Lake County's coffers ought to be doin' a lot better here pretty quick too. Gotta love that outta town money...      It's a good thing I'm not up there floatin' a boat and looking for a "quiet corner" to chill in because it doesn't look like there are any quiet corners and I never did look good in stripes or jump-suit orange either...

  You local boys must hate holiday weekends. I know I would. Probably can't wait for Monday mornings either... You guys must be why the cable channels put all their "marathons" on during the holiday weekends too.

 By the looks of that webcam you guys oughtta have no problem sneakin' up on the fish this next week... because if their ears aren't still ringing they're going to be deaf!
