Fishing Report for Clear Lake July 2nd - 8th

Clear Lake July 2nd - 8th
Water Temp mid 70s to mid 80s
Water Clarity 1 to 4 ft

The fishing has been much better in the last week, and we are now catching an average of 15 to 20 fish a day. Still not to many big ones, lots of 2 1/2 to 3 pounders a few 4 pounders and a nice small mouth.

I am fishing plastic worms 4" to 7" Texas ridged and Dropshot. Jigs, and some Reaction Baits. In the weeds try Frogs, 5" Swimbaits, Sinkos and Swim Jigs. The best action for me has been in the weeds and thules. For reaction baits try Deep Cranks, Swimbaits, and Buzzbaits.

I have been fishing both the south and north parts of the lake and both are fishing well.
