Ate at Perkos in Lakeport tonight. Had to listen to an older guy screaming into his phone for 20 minutes in a loud slow voice. He was talking to his wife about her personal medical cardiology problems. It's a large restaurant but everyone could hear him. It was rather annoying but in the end he justified it with something that nearly made my wife blow food out of her nose. He yelled, "I MISS YOU TOO HONEY AND WHEN I GET HOME WE'RE GOING TO GET OUT THE LITTLE BLUE PILL!."

God that cracked us up.

That's hillarious. It always amazes me how people can tune out the whole world when they are yelling in to thier cell phones. It is one of my pet peaves and I would have been irritated but after that last part you can't help but laugh.  hilarious!

I've eaten at that perko's several times throughout the years and I have to say as of late the food has been great. They have so many choices on the menu there. I wish we had a perkos in Ukiah. They had one in Willits but it was terrible and has since been replaced by a restaurant called lumberjacks.

Yeah kinda helps the ol appetite if there isn't a bunch of crap on the floor. I hate eating in a dirty restaurant. Guess the employees have been slacking?

Which a direct result of hands off management. With job shortages it shouldn't be to hard to find willing employees.

Actually Greg and Tamara are there quite a bit but of course they can't be there all the time. They're raising three kids as well as also running TJ's. Actually, we go there for breakfast three times a week and with one exception, it's been pretty good. I will mention these complaints next time I see them. They are good at receiving constructive criticism.

I really like two things about the place. The food. The last three times I had steaks at othe places I was very disappointed. The ribeye was great at Perkos. Another thing I liked is one day i was going To park in a handicapped spot, had my tag in the window and drove by. The owner recognized my from the Marina Grill and waved. As I approached, two guys parked I the last handicapped spot and I drove by. He motion me to stop.

As soon as he saw they weren't handicapped he got on their case and chased them off. I was thinking, "That guy just chased off two customers for moral issues."

I was very impressed and return sometimes for that reason alone. I've told him so too. I would appreciate it if you mention the floor Ed. It's something that bugs me and really bugs women. That place only needs a bright colored new rug to make it look in tip top shape.
