I've been in sort of a slump these past few weeks, getting less bites than I do usually. So yesterday I went out and bought some jumbo minnows from Clearlake Bait and Tackle in a floating tub. I've never fished with minnows so a good amount were released unintentionally due to my improper hooking technique, but I got the technique down quickly after that. I went out this morning and pulled in the one below. Pretty fun when you see your bobber running and diving. If you're in a slump like I was, try minnows. If you use minnows, you know how well they work right now and can attest to them. Happy fishing!  fisher
